You can delete your NoorVerse account at any time. Deletion is permanent, but takes effect after a 30-day recovery window in case the request was a mistake.
Delete your account in the app
- Open NoorVerse and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Organization administrators can also delete their entire organization (Delete organization & my account) — this ends access for every member, archives the organization's data, cancels any active subscription, and schedules every member account (including yours) for permanent deletion. Records the organization must keep by law are retained (see below).
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email [email protected] with the subject "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" from the email address on your NoorVerse account. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.
How deletion works — the 30-day recovery window
This applies to all account types — administrators, teachers, parents, and community members.
- Immediately: your access ends, you're signed out, and your device push-notification registrations are removed. The account no longer counts toward your organization or its billing.
- For the next 30 days: the account is in a "pending deletion" state. During this window an organization admin can restore it if the deletion was a mistake. You can't sign in during this time.
- After 30 days: your sign-in credential is permanently deleted and your name, email, phone number, and profile photo are permanently anonymized. This is final — the account can no longer be restored.
What is permanently removed
- Your sign-in credentials (you can no longer log in).
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
- Your device push-notification registrations.
What may be retained
- Educational records the organization must keep by law (attendance, grades) — retained by the organization in anonymized form, no longer linked to your identity.
- Safeguarding and incident records the organization is legally required to keep.
- A minimal, non-identifying audit entry recording that a deletion occurred.
- Payment and invoice records retained as required by financial regulations.
This narrow set of legally-required billing and security metadata is kept only to
meet those obligations — it is not linked to your identity and never means your deleted
personal profile can be recovered.
